We also collect tour activity, access events, and technical information such as your IP address and device type.

We use the information we collect to operate the platform, verify your identity before granting property access, generate and deliver time-limited access codes, send tour confirmations and reminders, process payments, detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your personal information to serve third-party advertising.

4. SMS and text messaging

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from Instant Home Tour, we collect your phone number solely to deliver property access codes, tour confirmations, security notifications, and related service messages.

We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging opt-in data and consent with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, we will send one confirmation message and you will receive no further texts unless you re-enroll. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Identity verification

Property access requires identity verification via a government-issued photo ID and selfie. This verification is conducted once at registration. We use a third-party provider to process ID documents and do not store raw images on our own servers.

6. How we share your information

We share tour details with listing agents and property managers only as necessary to facilitate a scheduled tour. We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform — all of whom are contractually required to protect your data. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect user safety.

7. Data retention

We retain account information while your account is active. Tour records and access logs are retained for a minimum of three years. SMS consent records are retained for a minimum of four years. You may request account deletion by contacting [email protected], subject to legal retention obligations.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. No internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

10. Children

Our platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
